Are The Actic Polar Ice Caps Being Melted On Purpose. Unit designed by teacher who was part of the Teachers Experiencing Antarctica and the Arctic program. They are very resistant to the cold and the drought; they obtain water of the fused snow, and nutrients of excrements of birds, transported by the wind. Much to my relief the itinerary did change and a window of opportunity opened up for us to make a continental landing. Organisers will need to demonstrate that they are sufficiently prepared for a visit to Antarctica.
